Giving back is an essential part of both my business and my personal life.
In every hotel I work with, community involvement is a priority. Supporting local organizations and initiatives not only reflects positively on the hotel—it strengthens its connection to the people it serves.
More importantly, it’s personal. Giving back fuels my sense of purpose and reinforces the belief that strong businesses are built on strong communities. It’s all part of putting the heartbeat back into business.
In the past, I have participated in the Adopt-A-School Reading Program and the UCLA and USC Pediatrics, Christmas Charity Gift Drives and Distribution. I also volunteer and donate monetary donations and discarded linens for the SPCALA Long Beach Animal Shelter, The Long Beach Homeless Shelter, and The Road Home, a homeless shelter in Salt Lake City, Utah.
